Go-to-Market Engineer

Full-Time
Bengaluru, India

Role Overview

We are seeking a Go-to-Market Engineer to build the connective tissue between our GTM teams and the platforms they rely on. This is a builder role, not a configure-and-forget CRM job: you'll design and ship integrations, automations, and AI agents across a four-system architecture (Pipedrive CRM, the GPUaaS platform, the my.hosted.ai customer portal, and Xero). The ideal candidate is an AI-native engineer who thinks in code, not just workflows, and who can turn messy business processes into a source of truth that leadership trusts more than rep memory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build the pipeline-truth layer: a deal-by-deal view with realistic close probability, risk signals, and the questions to probe before deals slip.
  • Design, build, and iterate on LLM agents and production workflows across the GTM stack, including lead enrichment, win/loss summarisation, forecast review, and anomaly detection.
  • Build the bidirectional Pipedrive to GPUaaS bridge with master data discipline, conflict resolution, status sync, and SLA monitoring.
  • Make Pipedrive the master source for all counterparties, with downstream sync to GPUaaS, the portal, and Xero.
  • Integrate the my.hosted.ai portal so sign-ups become leads, activity feeds health scoring, and support tickets reach the account team.
  • Turn manual KYB intake, restricted-country screening, and BIS EAR export-control checks into gated, audited production workflows.
  • Build dashboards and alerting across Executive, Sales Ops, Compliance, Finance, and Automation Health.
  • Act as the internal AI engineer-evangelist, helping the rest of GTM build AI into their own work.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of production engineering experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, with a track record of integrating meaningful business systems (CRMs, ERPs, billing, custom platforms).
  • Strong with Python and/or Node.js, with real fluency in idempotency, retries, rate limits, and webhook failure modes.
  • API engineering depth: REST, webhooks, OAuth, conflict resolution, backfills, and eventual consistency, with experience shipping an integration that survived a real outage.
  • Hands-on workflow orchestration experience (n8n, Make, Temporal, Airflow, or a custom-built equivalent).
  • LLM-native development experience on OpenAI or Anthropic APIs, including structured tool use, evals, and prompt/model versioning.
  • Experience treating CRM systems as backends to engineer against, not just configure (Pipedrive ideal; Salesforce or HubSpot acceptable).
  • SQL and analytics fluency, with comfort building dashboards in Metabase, Looker, or similar.
  • Strong commercial pattern recognition: the ability to read a deal, spot risk early, and design systems that surface problems before they escalate.

Nice to Have

  • Background in B2B SaaS GTM, RevOps, Sales Ops, or Marketing Ops engineering.
  • Finance system integration experience (Xero, NetSuite, QuickBooks).
  • Familiarity with AI infrastructure, GPU compute, or hyperscaler economics.
  • Compliance-aware engineering experience (KYB/AML, BIS EAR, or other export-control regimes).
  • Prior experience at a Seed or Series A stage company.
  • Open-source contributions to relevant tools (n8n, LangChain, Pipedrive SDKs, etc.).

Why Join Us?

  • Build the GTM engineering function from the ground up, with no inherited technical debt.
  • Work on genuinely rich engineering problems at the intersection of systems integration, compliance, and AI.
  • Sit at the center of one of the most consequential infrastructure markets of the decade.
  • Report directly to the COO with visibility across the CCO and Finance Director, with your work seen by the people running the company.
  • Meaningful equity at Series Seed economics, with real runway, customers, and revenue already in place.
