About the GPUaaS Vertical

Hosted.ai is the software platform that powers GPU cloud and AI infrastructure providers worldwide. Our GPUaaS vertical is the commercial engine on top of it: we bring AI workloads to a curated network of Cloud Service Providers running on our platform. We do not own GPUs and we do not operate datacenters. What we own is the customer relationship, software-level visibility into where capacity sits across the network at any moment, and the commercial muscle to match a workload to the right provider, fast.

That makes our pitch breadth and fit rather than a single SKU: the right GPU, in the right region, at the right price, available now, under one contract with one vendor.

We sell through three motions:

  • Reseller. Fast, transactional deals routing customer demand to partner capacity. Days to weeks, $60K to low seven figures.
  • Build-to-order clusters. Dedicated, purpose-built GPU clusters structured and financed through institutional capital partners. Tens to hundreds of millions of dollars, months from first conversation to financial close.
  • Project Coldstart. Our strategic partner motion. Capacity owners without an enterprise demand engine hand us the commercial layer, and we originate offtake and wrap services around their fleet so it fills.

The Role

We are hiring a senior individual contributor to own the Americas, our largest market, across all three motions. You carry a quota and run your pipeline end to end.

The job is in front of customers, in person, most days. AI labs and enterprise AI teams do not commit tens of millions of dollars of compute over a video call. You will be meeting foundation model labs, AI-native companies, and Fortune 1000 AI and ML platform teams daily, and closing them yourself. New York and San Francisco were chosen because your buyers are already there.

Two things define the role. Speed: capacity opens and closes across the network constantly, and whoever matches supply to the right buyer first wins. Breadth: a cluster commitment is a multi-month structuring exercise with Finance, procurement, legal, and our capital partners, and under Coldstart the counterparty is a capacity owner rather than an end customer. Knowing which motion an opportunity calls for, and running it accordingly, is the craft here.

You will report to the VP of Sales for the GPUaaS vertical and work alongside Solutions Engineering, Capacity Planning, and Deal Desk, with a direct line into the CEO on cluster and Coldstart structuring.

What You Will Do

  • Meet AI labs, AI-native startups, and enterprise AI teams in person on a daily basis, and convert them. You own prospecting, discovery, structuring, negotiation, and close.
  • Move fast on reseller deals: know what each partner has online and what fits the workload, then route, price, and close before the window shuts. Walk away cleanly when the fit is not there.
  • Originate and lead build-to-order clusters: qualify the demand, shape term, capacity, and timeline with Capacity Planning and Deal Desk, and carry the deal to signed LOI and financial close alongside our capital partners.
  • Land and grow Coldstart partners: win the mandate to be their commercial engine, negotiate the fee and revenue-share structure, then point real demand at their capacity so the relationship compounds.
  • Build multi-threaded relationships across CTO, VP Engineering, Head of ML, Head of Infrastructure, Finance, and Procurement, and stay close to our partners on the supply side.
  • Activate your own network from day one. We expect your first deals to come through your own rolodex.
  • Forecast accurately, qualify cleanly, and be the voice of the market back to Product and Partnerships on what customers want and what is blocking deals.
  • Represent Hosted.ai at AI industry events, customer dinners, and partner visits. Expect 30 to 50% travel, mostly within North America.

What You Will Need

  • 10+ years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience, with at least 4 years selling to technical buyers in engineering, infrastructure, or ML.
  • Experience selling GPU or AI infrastructure (CoreWeave, Lambda, Crusoe, Together AI, Nebius, or similar) or cloud and IaaS at AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI, or comparable.
  • An active network of founders, CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and Heads of ML at US AI labs and AI-native companies, plus enterprise AI leaders, and the ability to evidence it.
  • Consistent seven-figure ACV closes, with at least one eight-figure or comparable large-format commitment you personally led. Be ready to walk us through your last 8 to 12 quarters.
  • A genuine field seller's operating style: high in-person meeting volume, comfortable opening doors cold, energised rather than drained by being out with customers.
  • Enough exposure to capital-intensive infrastructure deals (project finance, SPVs, capacity offtake, build-to-order compute) to hold your own in a structuring conversation.
  • Ability to converse credibly about GPUs, networking (InfiniBand, RoCE), training and inference workloads, and total cost of compute.
  • Based in the New York or San Francisco metro area, or willing to relocate.

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling reserved or committed compute, capacity-based pricing, or marketplace and reseller motions.
  • A channel, alliances, or capacity-monetization background where you sold on behalf of a partner rather than only your own inventory.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Slurm, MLOps tooling, or PyTorch.
  • Experience in a business where supply availability shapes deal cadence.

What Good Looks Like

  • 90 days: ramped on all three motions, 25+ qualified accounts surfaced from your own network, a steady in-person meeting cadence established, and at least one deal closed.
  • 6 months: 3 to 5 deals closed, pipeline at 4 to 5x quota, two marquee AI logos landed, one cluster opportunity in LOI discussion, and one Coldstart partner conversation open.
  • 12 months: quota exceeded, at least one deal at $5M+ ACV closed, one cluster deal carried to LOI or financial close, and one Coldstart partner signed or materially grown.

To Apply

Send your resume and a short note on your most recent closed-won GPU or cloud infrastructure deal: the shape of it, how long it took, and what you would do differently. Describe the customer by type and stage rather than by name if the relationship is confidential.
